One-on-one instruction built around your swing, not a template. We start with what you already do well, fix the one thing holding you back, and give you a practice plan you can actually follow between sessions.

On-Course Playing Lessons
Nine holes together, where the game actually happens. Course management, club selection, recovery shots, and the decisions that quietly cost you strokes every round.

Ages 8 – 16
Junior Development Program
A season-long program for ages 8 to 16 that builds fundamentals, etiquette, and genuine enjoyment of the game. Small groups, age-appropriate equipment, and parents welcome to watch.
$450 per season
New and returning golfers
Women's Beginner Clinics
A four-week clinic for women who have never picked up a club, or who want to start over without judgment. Clubs provided. You will hit the ball in the first session.
$180 for four weeks
Common questions
Do I need my own clubs to start?
No. I keep fitted loaner sets for both the beginner clinics and first-time private lessons, in a range of lengths. If you decide to buy, I will help you avoid spending money on the wrong equipment.
I have never played before. Is that a problem?
It is genuinely easier. Beginners have no habits to undo. The four-week clinic exists specifically for people starting from zero, and everyone there is in the same position.
How often should I take lessons?
Most students do best every two to three weeks, which leaves time to practice what we worked on. I would rather you come less often and practice well than come weekly and never absorb anything.
Where do lessons take place?
Private and junior lessons are at Desert Ridge Golf Academy. Playing lessons are at Paradise Valley Country Club, where I can host guests. Both are easy to reach from central Scottsdale.
